It's All about the Benjamin's Baby!!

Wow, just finished a session with Mr. Andy Benjamin and his lovely family. I switched it up this time and instead of using the Constant lights I normally use, I got a chance to test out my pro master strobes! They did an awesome job and bouncing & lighting the subject. The color and contrast was amazing, I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you Mr. & Mrs Benjamin for supporting A.B.C Photography!!

Happy Valentine"s Day from A.B.C. Photography!

I had the pleasure of working with an awesome group of men and women last night at Agape Christian Ministries Valentine Dinner/Dance. It took place at Olive and June's located here in Austin TX off of w 38th street "beautiful venue" I set up the mini studio and each couple stopped to take a portrait to commemorate the night before being seated. Three Generations

Thank you Mrs. Mitchell and family for continuing to support ABC Photography. I met this family praise dance group a few years ago at my first photography gig. We connected and they have been coming yearly to take anniversary pictures for their group "Three Generations"  since.

Pretty in Pink

Miss Kayla who is a recent winner in the little Miss Texas Pagent came by for a session with her crown and two other winners of the event for a session. We took a few indoors and then decided to take our session to Ghost Town "Manor Tx" Kayla's mother selected one of the photos from the shoot and asked my presmission to enter it in a contest for a modeling magazine. With in a week I was contacted by Kayla's mom advising that her picture was selected and published. What an Honor!

Meet the Hoopers

WOW! Amazing session with the Hooper family. This was another right on time session. Four days after our shot they welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world. I'm def looking forward for therereturn  session so we can capture the beautiful bundle of joy outside of mommies tummy. 

The Washington Family

Amazing session with so much fun and laughter. This usually happens when in the studio with a family that loves to laugh and joke. We had such a good time and the pictures came out perfect. I have to say the one with daddy and son is my fav. I just love the light on this one and it was a test shot! 

J.Rhymes

Minister Jasmine Rhymes graced the studio a while back and have me the privelage to capture the essence of her and her heart toward God through the gift of music. I don't usually do a lot of added effects with Photoshot but I just could not resists when I seen one of the poses is post editing. Be on the look out for her cd "coming soon"

Americas Next Top Model

I recently had the honor of capturing a few heads shots for submission to Americas next top model for Miss Jada. This Beautiful young lady  made my job extra easy with her training and knowledge all I had to do was press the shutter release and here you have it. A.B.C Senior Session

Here is a collage from a senior session done last year. We tried somethig different with this one. I guess you could call it an alter ego session. We wanted to show all the different sides Mr. Daye has to offer from the class room scholar to the fancy foot work hard highsc running back as well as one who knows that hard work really does pay off. 

Portfolio On the Go

This was one of the more interesting shoots I have done recently. Running late on a class assignment, this aspiring fashion designer needed a portfolio built ASAP. He agreed to have the fashion and models and I agreed to make it happen and that I did! Shooting on location can be a bit of a challenge because you just never know what to expect. When me and my assistant arrived with our portable studio, the room where we were suppose to shot was way to small. We ended up having to set up in the breeze way of the apartment complex. Backdrop  furniture lights and all.  The natural sunlight shining mixed with the steady flow of light from our constant soft box made the perfect combination. After a few shots using the salvage backdrops we decided to wrap things up at the lake in Pflugerville. See images below from some of the models that helped make this a success.

Picnic in the Park " Pflugerville"

After coming across this beautiful vintage picnic set I could not wait to try it out.Thanks to my good friend Derral and his family I was able to do just that.With beautiful fall colors in the background, leaves, a blanket and family, it was perfect!!

Baby on Board

 Just in the nic of time!! We had the darnedest time getting together for this maternity session, but thank God the last date we set, noting came up and we were able to capture pics of mommy, daddy and baby girl before she decided to make her debut. Mom & Dad did not want to do anything over the top but did have one special request and that was to have a silhouette of them. This was my first time and i admit i was a little nervous as to how it would look.  I must admit that this is one of my fav. maternity pics to date and a must to have enlarged and mounted. Thanks again Hall family for your business and the great idea to try the silhouette. 

A Mothers Love

Though you cant tell from the beautiful pictures, it was fairly windy and about 30degree's out that day, but We did not let that stop us. These girls were ready to rock and that they did. When I arrived home after the session I headed straight for my office to began editing. I knew from the moment I snapped the shot that the pic of them all sitting in the grass and the natural sun rays shining through would be my favorite one. Thank you Meme and the girls for allowing me to capture such beautiful moments of you all.   

Class of 2013 Texas State

 Samples below from my last Senior Session. Congrats to the class 2014! This session took place on location at the Texas State Campus in the lovely city of San Marcos. Due to her major in Phys. it was a must to capture a shoot right in front of one of the main buildings she attended class , next stop was the campus Library, then to the courtyard and last but not least we had to capture a few shots with her baby "puppy".
